Booked a tour and went today, it was a fascinating collection. Thanks to the volunteers who walked us through a quite eclectic collection of trade union badges, flags, prints and records. There's a room of books on the Irish struggle for Independence, including books on Wolfe Tone and a room centred on Thomas Paine. There's something more local on the ground floor about the redevelopment of Salford in the 60's.
