Well iv never ever felt the need to review any of my shopping experiences-but after not long leaving the store I'm so upset a d disappointed with how I was treated, also spoken to in the rudest and aggressive manner which in my 50 years of my life iv never encountered before!! Oh and it's my 50th birthday today ,which has been Very sad due to my mother being very poorly with possible covid 19!! So with this worrying time/day which I should be happy and celebrating my special day has been no celebration whatsoever to which I think people would understand. Anyway so after a very testing day I entered the store as I do 5 times a week to buy my catfood, cigarettes, milk etc etc and other items too toiletries ,air freshener s,bread,I use the store as when I first started using the shop the man who was normally serving was very friendly, chatty and always had a smile .because of this I would always choose to shop and give my custom even tho there is many other local stores which are a little cheaper ,as sumtimes I feel I'd like to stay loyal to a store who valued my custom which showed in the friendly and accommodating way I got treated and spoken too.iv told my freinds and family that the guy in the shop is a lovely man.but then over a period of time I was still shopping there the nice friendly guy seemed to not be around much, and there was another young ish gentleman who was serving me more-I think it was the nice mans brother ,well still I got served and I would make small talk and niceties to which his rapport back wasn't overly friendly but more just being professional and doing his job-to which is ok and knowing not everyone is the same in wanting to exchange niceties .no problem,no offence taken, but earlier this evening not long back iv entered the store and politely asked the man if he could possibly be good enough to change a twenty pound note for me so I could get the bus-as I suffer with c.o.p.d and angina/heart issues but had no change, I was struggling to breathe and had to heavy ish bags inmy possession ,and needed to get transport back home,he declined my asking explaining that he hadn't much change-once again that is perfectly ok and I understood ,I didnt react moody or make a scene about it as it wasn't a problem, it just meant I would have to buy summit,to which I chose a chocolate bar as it would get me sum change for the bus and also wud gvme a energy boost which I certainly needed too!!!as soon as I put the chocolate bar on counter his attitude completely changed from retail worker to a very rude aggressive man who made me feel so disgusted and ov no relevance ,that I didn't matter and I'd done something wrong by purchasing a chocolate bar!! He said is that it!!?? To which I said yes you know I have nothing smaller,to which he continued to be rude saying he had no change I replied in calm manner back that it not my fault his float has no change and that as a shop/retail outfit they shud have enough change to be able to serve people who may only have certain notes,I explained that I was a regular customer who shopped there every day nearer enough and why was he being so nasty in his manner and unprofessional when I'd done absolutely nothing wrong in my attempt to buy a chocolate bar!! To which he replied well u ain't guna be a regular customer any more!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬how disgusting and disgraceful to say that to a loyal customer who spends money regularly in his shop,I told him it was my 50th birthday today and that he was probably having a bad day,in a mature manner keeping my dignity and my temper in check-in my mind is my poor mother possibly being positive for covid worried if she is that I could be facing heartbreak ,all this on my special day!!!!! Well I'm so so hurt, angry, and distrusted, I shall not be ever shopping there even if I was given a trolley dash around the store!!!! I shall also be taking it up with trading standards and local authorities, my member of parliament mike wood, tabloids too,he probably dont care about me or the customer or have any regret which tells me he is just a dogs body
