Waiting on a business rates refund since 17th February. They asked for account details to be paid to and then apparently paid it into an old account that was closed years previously despite promising it had been paid as per our letter. Month after understanding their mistake, told we have to wait for payment to bounce back. Made it clear that was not our issue for their incompetence Finally agreed to make payment to correct account. Promised payment made, however two weeks later we are still waiting. Call and get told - we will email a manager. I want to speak to a manager, not wait for someone to read an email and delete it which is apparently what they do. At this point, it is clearly THEFT.

A council that thinks its fine to con a elderly person by a member of one of there departments who lie and says there care is free and then the person gets a invoice for nearly three and a half thousand pound and sends a letter threatning to add interest if its not paid when they were told more than twice that there care was free due to them having no savings and struggles with there normal household bills

Sending E Mails in response to legitimate concerns from a No Reply address pretty well sums up their attitude towards the public

I would like to echo the opinion of someone who considered the site to be appalling but to do so would be to complement it. It is without any doubt whatsoever quite the worst that I have ever had the misfortune to try to use; certainly not worth one star nor any fraction thereof.
