My Google search for divorce solicitors brought up Woolley & Co and it has been a very good experience during a difficult time. After a very informative 1st telephone conversation with Rebecca around divorce I decided on a fix fee financial remedy order and was extremely pleased with how this all went within the timescales quoted. I decided to do the marriage divorce myself due to the simplicity of my case and to keep costs down. Rebecca always responded promptly to questions and emails and I can’t fault her. The advise she gave with the order and how it was written made sense of a messy situation and she listened to concerns I had to personalise it to my needs. Rebecca was respectful to both myself and my wife and maintained our good relationship preventing any further stress. Hi, this was a difficult decision to make but Rebecca explained the process from the offset and more importantly the fact it could be as and when I felt ready to progress with each stage. I expected it to be a painful drawn out process but it went as well as it could given the sensitive nature of the situation. It is not something you want to be rushed into or pushed into making claims that are not fair on either party when there is no need or justification so the process was clean and civilised. Alison ratchford dealt with my overseas divorce it was a very challenging divorce Alison had to deal with 2 separate countries an laws an she went about the process very professionally keeping me fully up to date on each step of the process . My solicitor was Rebecca Franklin, i was separated from my ex for over 10 years but unfortunately because he had initiated divorce and didn't take things further and was being difficult when asked for things from court, it was just left hanging, with the help of rebecca i was able to get my divorce in the time scale Rebecca said, right at the start, i knew where the case was at each stage, and Rebecca handled the case well, there was no hidden charges and Rebecca kept me updated and was clear about everything at each stage, I definitely recommend Rebecca you wont be disappointed she handled the case perfectly and got results with in months which i was unable to for years.
