Highly recommended! Woolas Barn is a superb new barn venue on the outskirts of York where SouthWestBand have helped put on some outstanding parties at Woolas over the last couple of years. We find it best performing in the cosy bar area which provides a brilliant gig-like atmosphere. It feels super busy on the dance-floor with the band is close up and personal amongst the guests. The bar being so close to where the action is will always result in a successful evening! The venue often works with two very accomplished wedding planners who are certainly worth speaking to, to ensure the day runs as smoothly as the ones we have recently been a part of at Woolas. Woolas Barn is the perfect wedding venue, a beautiful converted barn in gorgeous countryside surroundings! From the moment we drove down the drive at our first viewing we knew it was where we wanted to get married and it did not disappoint. We got married on site and the venue worked perfectly to allow out whole day to flow smoothly. Although gorgeous with plenty of character it is also a blank canvas which allowed us to put our stamp on it. James and his family were always friendly, flexible and happy to answer any questions quickly. Thank you, we would highly recommend!!

We got married at Woolas Barn last weekend and the whole thing was absolutely magical - it’s a really beautiful place and photos just don’t do it justice! James and his family are so friendly and welcoming and we loved celebrating in their beautiful barn. Being able to choose all our own suppliers was brilliant and meant we could have everything on the day just to our liking - what a fabulous blank canvas! A gorgeous venue with very friendly staff and great facilities. I played music here on the weekend for a wedding. The bride and groom drove a tractor with their guests on the back to get from the church!
