My car was stolen two weeks after buying it from this company. I was not given the V5C new keeper slip at the time of sale, or shown the V5C logbook at all; the car only came with one key which I wasn’t informed of upfront; they don’t accept card payments only bank transfer, which also wasn’t made clear in advance; and the person I dealt with had left the company by the time the car was stolen. The company owner Ian Botcherby was defensive when contacted with understandable queries around some of these matters, but did send me the documents I might need for the insurance claim. I was then, however, treated with hostility and accused of harrassment for asking further questions (due to not getting clear answers), I was ludicrously and hysterically accused of calling the company eight times in one day – a complete lie provable by call logs – and I was threatened with police action. I could not believe my ears. I was made to feel like a criminal when I had been the victim of a crime. All incredibly upsetting when you’re just trying to sort out your insurance claim. I would not recommend this company to anyone for professionalism, trustworthiness or customer communication. There’s something not right about them, not least that they don’t seem to understand the significance of a V5C document and the proper procedure around it. (To clarify, and in response to the reply from Woodstock below, the V5C logbook should have been presented before being taken to the post office, whether it was a disabled transfer or not. Secondly, I did not ask or accuse 'Did you steal my car?' That is another lie. I stated that the way in which the transaction was carried out and the failure of its conductor to make return contact after the car was stolen roused suspicion, and it did. Lastly, the poor review is not a result of the car being stolen; it is a result of the way I was treated after my car was stolen and the general lack of professionalism of the sale. I only received an apology from Woodstock because they wanted me to take down this review, which I decided against.)

Amazing, swift and welcoming staff who really take care when introducing the car and making sure all your questions are answered. Reasonably priced cars that are in line with the current market values. There is also a good range of cars from high end cars to nice, immaculate hatchbacks. Would highly recommend the Woodstock Car Sales team if you are looking for a seamless and stress free experience whilst purchasing a car.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with James and felt compelled to leave a review. We contacted Woodstock Car Sales, as we had been driving past and noticed a car on the forecourt that caught our attention. From the initial contact to completing the part exchange for my old vehicle took less than 2 days. James took care of everything in a very friendly, polite and professional manner. The quality of the cars that they have is incredible and clearly, they are car enthusiasts that know what they are doing! This was a much more pleasant experience than going to a main dealer, it was a lot more personal and no pushy sales, James was genuine and honest throughout and couldn’t have done more to accommodate our requests. I will definitely be coming back when it is time to replace the other family car. Thanks James and team, we love the car and are looking forward to many happy miles ahead!

A pleasure to deal with. Great customer service from start to finish from Ian and James, I made an enquiry and Ian was very helpful about the car and process, I then called after hours not expecting a response but James answered and walked me through the next stage before coming to see the car and sorting out a part exchange price etc. Upon arrival there was no pushy sales tactics and everything was as described and perfectly presented. I was left alone to inspect the car, offered refreshments and was shown around the show room and there other vehicles they have. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for good honest sales and high standard vehicles.
