1/10 -- Are you interested in waiting on the phone for 60 minutes listening to stock classical music on a 30 second loop, before being able to speak to one of just two receptionists?!? - Does waiting for 3 weeks before being able to see a doctor interest you? - Does receiving wrong or late prescriptions tempt you to join?!? - Does arriving at our clinic for appointments with the wrong members of staff entice you?!? -- Then join this clinic! We have it all!! -- * Well meaning staff with useless management. * Feedback letters from patients will be ignored EVERY TIME. We won't listen and will NEVER change! * Huge inefficiencies and irritation for all who join. Someone is profiting from your time and misery, GUARANTEED!! * If you expected anything from us, then tough luck. Whooopsie daisy!! We just don't care. * Why hire another member of staff?! If we don't look for any problems, we won't find them! NB: I was able to write this review, do four sudokus and send three emails whilst waiting for 45 mins on hold to the clinic. "Please be aware that your call may be recorded, for training or monitoring purposes" 🤣

I attended this doctor for the second time yesterday (the first being a passing visit for a review), and I can safely say I have never felt so comforted by a team of staff. I get very, very nervous going to the doctors I try and avoid going and even more so when I have to have blood tests. The doctors who dealt with me were all absolutely lovely and gave me the time of the day instead of ignoring my concerns and worries. The receptionist team was so caring on the telephone in the morning and ensured I received the care I needed. Granted, the only downfall is the long wait times on the telephone in the morning, but it is expected. Thank you!

Understaffed or oversubscribed I can't tell, but it's a nightmare trying to even contact them hold times are ridiculous and even when you get to the front of the queue and it starts ringing you're waiting a good 5 minutes.

Always such lovely care from all practitioners and reception staff. Yes it's a busy practice but my family and I have always received excellent medical care since 2007.

The normal practice here is to spend 50 min on a phone and then 1h more waiting in the waiting room. Need to sign up only the same day before 9am (I.e if you didn't join a call by 8.30am - no chance for the appointment). If you asked for a call back (can happen any time during the week) and missed it once, all the process starts over from the beginning. May not be the surgery fault but definitely a struggle for the patients

I wouldn't recommend this doctors surgery. I am trying to find a new one. After moving to this area I have never know a service where it is impossible to book a doctors appointment. I have had to use the walk-in centre in town. They asked me to call at 8.30 in a morning but I was on hold a very long time and needed to go to work and had to call back at lunch and and then told I need to call in a morning or submit this form but I submit this form and don't here for over 24hours and then they don't have appointments or ask me to go to Jordonthrope but this is difficult. Just honestly such a useless service.

I have been with Woodseats medical centre since 2014 and I can’t say I have ever had a problem with getting a same day appointment! Granted you have to call at 08:30 and may be on hold for 30 minutes but what surgery isn’t like that?! The move to the new building across the road was a god send and I’ve always felt staff and clinicians are so friendly and give you the time of day. I’ll be so sad to leave but I have unfortunately moved over 45 minutes away. I can’t fault the medical centre and would absolutely recommend it to anybody who likes a quiet and clean reception area, same day prescriptions and a fast service. I have always been the running joke in my circles that I am never out of the doctors and thanks to Woodseats who always got me in, I could keep the joke going. 😁

Had the final straw of incompetence from this surgery today. As soon as I resolve the issue I am going straight to another surgery to sign up. Waited a week for a medicine to be sent to Pharmacy2U - rang up to chase when I finally ran out (painful side effects already), to be told it's because I need to speak to a doctor first. Thanks for telling me. Said I need it issued immediately, provided my local pharmacy details so I could collect. They sent the next day to Pharmacy2U (which takes 3 days to deliver). Day two with no meds and my head is killing. Now a 26 person queue before I can resolve the matter. Second piece of dire incompetence just this year (we are in week 5!).

Waiting time is getting longer and longer for a booked appointment although the waiting room is not busy. This is the second time I have waited longer than half an hour to be seen. Please encourage staff to work on time management skills.
