We had an amazing weekend at Woodlands Farm whilst house hunting locally. Paul is a font of knowledge on local walks and villages to visit. The stables apartment was wonderful, with lovely furniture from ‘the Mouse man’ who my late Ma used to visit in the 50’s! In terms of feedback it took two days of leaving messages to have booking confirmed, it is always an answer machine. Also a lit mirror and tissues in the bathroom would help my partner advised x

Had wanted to get away from it all and this place was perfect for that. The owner Paul could not have looked after us any better, always around when needed and helped with recommendations for places to dine and visit. Rooms were very clean and well equipped, bed was very comfortable. Paul's wife Amy cooked breakfast which was excellent and would recommend if planning a busy day as it filled me up till teatime. Overall I couldn't fault the whole experience, will definitely return.

We stayed four nights at the Middleton Suite which is very spacious, clean and well decorated. We hope to stay longer. The location is good for walking in village and forest. Also not so far from attractive villages and the moors. Breakfast was beautiful with variety of selections. Thank you to Paul for looking after us well.
