“I have been practicing yoga with Louise for several years. During that time she has developed her teaching in a way that has been immensely helpful to me. What is it about her classes that is so beneficial? It’s the mix of yoga and mindfulness together that has become her trademark. The course on “mindful compassion” has helped me to look after myself during a very difficult time, stick to the mat and take better care of myself in a physical and mental way. In the yin classes especially, whilst we are in a pose she gives us nuggets to think about and take our mind off the pose! Because the classes are on zoom it’s not necessary to be somewhere at a certain time which is very good for me, although her outdoor sessions at Heartwood forest are very enjoyable when the weather works! Highly recommended.

I'm so glad I found Woodland Yoga. Louise is a wonderful teacher who creates a warm, welcoming and calm environment to practise in. Having the opportunity to practise outdoors brings a whole new dimension to my experience. I really enjoy exploring the seasonal themes that the classes centre around, and it is clear that Louise puts a lot of thought into each mini-series. I appreciate the flexibility of being able to attend classes in person or on Zoom, and the online library of classes is also a great resource.

I joined Lou’s yoga classes over 2 years ago and I can honestly say they have had a huge impact on me. I love the flexibility of being able to join the classes live on zoom. As well as the physical practise Lou also focuses on mental well-being and I love that the programmes follow the seasons. I like the variety of classes from the early morning sunrise work out to yin to the meditation classes. I have also been lucky enough to join a couple of the yoga retreats and meet in person which have also been so enjoyable and beneficial. I would not hesitate to recommend Woodland Yoga to anyone.

Amazing yoga and mindfulness meditation classes. I do some online and in the yoga hall but do love them out in nature! Louise is so insightful and I always learn something new, I have grown so much emotionally and have been able to manage stress so much more easily! I really can’t recommend enough. If you want to grow spiritually and mentally you have to try, the classes are so much more than just yoga and movement which does help too obviously. The day retreats are fantastic too, when I can make them and they aren’t sold out, I can see why they do sell out though! The picture is when I was on a retreat, I went inside and this was what I saw out the window! Such a fantastic experience!
