Great location to relax and enjoy with family and friends....Enough parking space...In the property itself there are so many things to do... there s a spa which i went for a massage it was really good.. Swimming pool and a restaurant in the reception area which were really nice...we stayed in a lodge named Birch spa.. it had 2bedrooms and 3 bathrooms rooms are really cosy and clean... Highly recommended for families or a group... childrens will love this place..

The whole site needs some tlc . Even the road in is full of potholes (and some are quite deep). Selling milk that is a week out of date does not help either. Simple things like a mat just inside the door of the "lodge". The "lodge" was really a wood clad caravan. Though we were a group of 3 adults we had a double room and a room for 2 kids. My wife and I slept in narrow beds in a room with no hanging on the doors facilities or a mirror. On the patio the wooden furniture was covered with a yellow fungus so sitting outside was a no no. Rooms: The small second bedroom had 2 foot wide beds which isn't great for adults.

A little Piece of Heaven We have just returned from an incredible break where we have spent total luxury in a truly idyllic location and all thanks to Jessica!! She made this stay an absolute dream!! From start to finish she knew what we would love and took care of us beyond words throughout our stays We needed time to chill and wow Jessica found us the dream location which we found so really hard to leave The staff were amazing totally attentive and genuine. The whole place is just beautiful and we have been totally spoilt Cannot thank you all enough and Jessica you were just fabulous and amazing at your job. You hate just the whole package!!! Booked the Woodland Lodges over the Bank Holiday weekend with me and my partner and was very pleasantly surprised. The site is absolutely lovely, staff are wonderful as well! The lodge itself was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking one of the many water features dotted around the site. The site itself is quiet, but does have an onsite cafe, bar and restaurant as well as a swimming pool. Although we didn't personally use any of these facilities, as we opted to eat in using the very good kitchen facilities in the lodge. The hot tub was also fantastic! Location wise it's great for days out, being only around 40 minutes to wonderful York, and about an hour to the Yorkshire Coast which we both visited during our stay. The only downside is the very early check out (9.30am), although you can pay an extra £11 for an 11am checkout or £22 for a 12pm checkout. Similarly the check in is quite late compared to hotels etc (4pm onwards) but this was only a small issue and isn't the worst thing in the world, just may be an inconvenience to some! All in all, a fantastic stay, and would definitely come back!

Lodges are amazing spacious and comfortable we have stayed in cedar and also fir tree both fantastic, they had everything you need in kitchen. The full site is clean and tidy. Harveys sports bar is good freindly staff, the watermill restaurant provides amazing food ,the sunday lunch is outstanding and the burgers too.Woodrock cafe is great for your morning coffee while on a stroll around and a bit of breakfast or lunch. Fantastic fishing which my husband made the most of while i chilled in the hottub. We've already been twice this year and will be definitely be back for more midweek/ weekend breaks thankyou to all the team
