Quite simple and straightforward recycling centre. Good amount of parking spots and clearly marked skips for easy classification. The staff were also extremely helpful when trying to find out the right skip. Only warning is that the access can be quite narrow especially when there is a big queue.

Can I give a huge massive enormous shout out to Jo who works at the Broadheath Altrincham recycling centre. I called there to dispose of a food processor, on putting it into the small appliances container my car keys fell off my index finger down onto the floor beside the container. I thought I would be taking up temporary residence there until the amazing Jo turned up with long hooked pole in hand and on the third attempt hooked my car keys and gave them back to me. To say this lady went above and beyond to help me is no understatement. Thank you so much Jo for helping me you are truly amazing. Lesson learnt my car keys will be in the pocket on my next visit. It's a great dump. Working 9 till 6 during the Covid Era, well organised and manned, bring your rubbish and recycle. Need help? The crew are more than happy to tell you where to stick your garden waste, in the nicest possible way. Almost. They'll take clothes ( bagged), TVs, fluorescent tubes, old batteries, dodgy chemicals, and most household recycling. WON'T TAKE PLASTERBOARD, apparently asbestos hazard. Now have the refuse charity shop cabin for re-usable rubbish. Top tipping.....
