Arranged to have my clubs regripped, took them in especially on Saturday morning. Spoke to Steve who assured me they'd be ready Wed morning onwards. Called to pick up today, woman answered. Er...I think they're ready can you call back this afternoon. I explained I had a window and would be coming over now., Wed afternoon. Sure enough wheI arrived they'd been left where I dropped, not been touched. Took clubs and left. Absolutely useless service and business and will never be going back again, total shambles! Range balls seem very expensive too. Woodham golf range? More like would you go there again....NO!

Without doubt the best short par 3 in Essex. Staff are all so friendly - I know - I worked there myself. Ian the owner is a real G, and Steve is second to none as a resident pro. Steve recently installed a virtual golf station at the end of the driving course and me and my Dad have had lessons with him. He is very insightful and helped me with my swing, and the next day my Dad went out and hit a hole-in-one at Benton Hall. Steve is very serious about the game, but has a lovely sense of humour; he will get youngsters driving par fours and chipping onto greens with all the style and penaz as Tiger Woods himself. Five stars. Absolutely recommended and without doubt the best place to introduce youngsters to the game in Essex.
