Just watched Wings Of War S1/Ep1 and was a bit disappointed with the number of errors on the Animation and Computer Graphics concerning The Dambuster’s raid. One graphic showed an Avro Manchester with its centre tail plane an unsuccessful twin engined forerunner of the Avro Lancaster, graphics of Lancasters on the raid had the mid upper gun turret, these were removed from 617 squadron Dam Buster aircraft, and it also showed what was described as Guy Gibsons aircraft with the squadron code AJ-C, Gibson’s aircraft was of course AJ-G G for George, good programme in general just lacking a bit in general research Jez Moore
