It's an OK school, however they have a small, glue stick budget for the science department, several classrooms during the winter are still cold and lack heating. The design and technology department have quite new and advance machinery, and the English department is over-funded, overflowing with supplies and rewards. Student support is great when revising and working towards GCSE's but sub-par for anything else, (For e.g hard working keen yr 7's who want to do more work). Lastly the school is quite strict and non-tolerant towards ill mannered behaviour , cracking down on the smallest of disruptions; nevertheless they are understanding and allow second chances for those who want to change.
