What a wonderful day! An interesting presentation which outlined the art of silverpoint. The rest of the workshop was spent developing the use of the pens and completing a piece. Such a luxury to be able to dedicate this time to learning a new art form from such a dedicated and skilled tutor. We were well looked after and the sustenance was second to none which added to the experience. I also enjoyed the fact that the workshop was in the gallery which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the work produced by local artisans. Finally, what better setting could we have asked for than to being in the beautiful picturesque village of Finchingfield...despite the torrential rain !!
