This is a Chinese institution they have been around forever. Not much has changed in terms of decor but I am glad to see that they are still going strong after the last few difficult years. When you sit down you receive free green tea and the orders come fairly quickly. Just make sure that you bring cash as they still and probably won’t be accepting card. I guess the day when cash is banned is the day they will close their doors for good 🤣 until then give Wong Leo a try as the food is cheap and good.

We went to Wong Kei today, we haven’t been here for many years. Food are good, actually better than before. The dry fried Ho fun with beef is simply above average. Staff are polite, tables and walls are clean. Food comes quickly.

Despite what becomes an average review overall I've been coming here for 20 years and enjoy the food and it's location very much. Though the service is not good, it is always speedy somehow. It's not curt anymore either, for which it was almost notorious. You can get a smaller table for four but you are unlikely generally to get a table to yourselves for 2. The business model being, to "pack 'em in." Given where it is, the fact that you can always get sat at a table even on the busiest of days and that the food I've never been disappointed with? Yes, I can easily recommend.
