Joined this club in August because I wanted to paddle more often. Such a lovely and inclusive group of people. Felt welcomed right away and my paddling has improved massively thanks to the friendly and supportive atmosphere of the club and great coaching.

As a former member of this club. I left due to offensive and upsetting messages. I witnessed whats app conversations which were rude and offensive to other members. The club has got a toxic element, and there lack of diversity and inclusion is there to be seen. It seems to be a rule of do it certain peoples way and if you don't like it you will be forced out.

The latest committee meeting minutes 10th October 2022 are available on the website. “ We are limited and not open to all” “She Paddles….can also be interpreted as being divisive and detrimental in managing a club” This club has a “dilemma with regards to meeting all Equality Diversity and Inclusion requirements” I cannot believe what I am reading. One star is one too many.
