I called Cal to fix a UPVC door and he was very helpful. He sorted out the issue in minutes even though another tradesman had told us we needed a new part which would have cost over £150. Cal came out the same afternoon and fixed the door straight away. Great service.

Used these cowboys a few years ago to replace several windows in a rental property. I'd paid a significant percentage upfront as the windows had to made to fit, no issue there. His team came and fitted them, the tenants informed me that 2 of the windows wouldn't close after they'd been fitted. As there was still an outstanding balance remaining, I asked simply for completion of the work to a satisfactory standard before completing the balance of the payment. Kal (the owner) decided to shout and sweat on the phone repeatedly say they had fitted the windows - what else did I expect. I explained that any reasonable human being would also expect that the windows would open and close. He started to threaten the removal of 'his' property from if the balance wasn't paid - putting yellow notices over the door and property causing a lot of distress for my tenants. Really ugly attitude and behavior all round from him and totally unprofessional. Being a reasonable human - I repeated come and complete the work and I'll be happy to pay. Eventually, he came around and fixed the windows so they would also open and close. Really ugly experience with these people - really give tradespeople a bad name. Would steer well clear unless you're willing to stand over them and check every minute detail of their work as they behave like cowboys if they can get away with it.
