What a very special place this is with the free viewing of light aircraft, the amazing cafe and the antiques centre. It just makes for a lovely visit. The service in the cafe at the tower is truly first class, the food is superb ! A large car park on site. What’s not to like. We had beautiful sunshine today as well. Visited with our dogs and family. It’s a super dog friendly site too..

Interesting afternoon at Half Penny Green Airport, lots of light aircraft doing circuits and bumps. Couple of microlights going around. It was handy having the ATC on loud speakers for all to hear the instructions from the tower. Continuous flying. Spent a couple of hours there. Weather made it. Will go again soon.
