Beware when you get date of hearing here. This place is racist. They only favour their own race people. The cunning lady owing us money and we gave all proofs and it was clear on hearing that she is lying. Her whole witness statement was a lie. Just because she was of same race , they dismissed the case saying there was no agreement of doing work while work was done with her agreement. And she did not pay. All emails and text messages were shown at hearing.

Providing a good review for a bit of balance…I attended an Adoption Celebration Hearing at the combined court today. This is when the judge presents a certificate to a child whose adoption has become official. About fifteen of us were in attendance. The judge spent some time talking to the child and asking who he’d invited to attend the celebration. She told him a bit about why she enjoys doing these hearings. She gave him and his parents an opportunity to say something. He was then presented with a certificate and a stuffed toy - and another stuffed toy was found for his younger brother so he wouldn’t feel left out. The child was then invited to sit in the judge’s chair and we were able to take lots of pictures. We were given plenty of time in the court room and there was a young lady who even helped us get some group pictures. It was a really lovely thing to mark the occasion and everyone I came across (from security at the entrance to the judge) were all great and very accommodating.

I haven't been to this court yet, but I'm already able to give them 0 star rating, for 2 reasons mainly: 1. This court has sent me a letter with court venue and date of my court ,great, but they haven't specified the time of the hearing! Yet, they stated that I have to be 30min prior to my hearing... I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS! 2. Trying to call this court many times to clarify the court hearing time, but each time after listening to 2min pre-recorded unnecessary chat, the phone just goes off due to high call volume, doesn't even let me stay on hold, just hangs up! This is the court that will decide my child's future basically. My court date is in a weeks time and I dread to think how 'professional' they will deal with my issue.

I would give a 0. The security guard was SO rude. Not to mention all the nosey colleagues just stopped there conversation to STARE at me whilst I was explaining PRIVATELY I'm a witness, I have brought my letter and I need to come in. OMG they made me very uncomfortable staring at me up and down-spoke so rudely. This is the same guard thats nice when your in heels! Double standards! Very unprofessional, DO NOT go in alone. I told a police officer how upset I was thankfully he walked me with respect.

Lack of tea and coffee making facilities render an otherwise well designed building somewhat unwelcoming and lending towards a tense atmosphere at times but otherwise a clean and professionally run court. Vending machines provide adequate drinks options but also violate new legal restrictions regarding the sale of high-dose caffeinated energy beverages to young people without ID. Polite staff, considerate security and up until now, a fair treatment and consideration of the facts. Be warned though, sometimes your scheduled time can be significantly delayed resulting in long waits. Prepare for this, however, and you will be fine. Have faith and justice will be done.
