Issued me a Penalty Charge Notice that's very clearly not within the breach of the "restriction" that they state was in place. Utterly incompetent - the letter that I have recently received from them has various grammatical errors. Like receiving correspondence from a primary school-aged child. Also, they didn't even send me a confirmation of payment email. Probably another ploy to try and con some more money out of me. I know that I am WELL within reason to appeal this again. And I would win. They don't have a leg to stand on. But, quite frankly, I'd rather gouge my eyes out with horse manuer than have to endure any further dealings with this utter joke of a council. With any luck, a large machine or two will come along soon enough and demolish it. If only the money they have conned me out of from this Penalty Charge Notice would be put owards sorting out something genuine and helpful, like filling the endless potholes or actually EMPTYING dustbins that we pay you for, but yet you still can't manage to do properly. You utterly DISGUST me, Wokingham Borough Council. Good luck to anyone in your dealings with them. You'll certainly need it.

The website - as far as food waste goes - is unhelpful and incoherent.

I have read a lot of bad comments. But the truth is that whenever I visit the council, I leave it grateful. And I understand that some people are ungrateful, even if you gave them everything you could

Always fairly unhelpful regardless of department in my experience - don’t expect much at all from this lot, and definitely don’t expect to be able to speak to an actual person - they’re all far too important, busy, unavailable etc - email, web forms etc only here and then of little use anyway. You’re welcome WBC 👍🏻

Well done Wokingham Borough Council. The resurfacing and white lining works around The Black Boy roundabout and Lower Earley Way are superb. The improvements are a credit to you and your contractors. Keep it up.
