  Hi Katrina. I am writing to you in response to our dealings with Brick-Tie following the instillation of the Helifix system by your company to our dining room extension. Ann and I chose your company following the positive reviews we read and are so glad we did. Following a site inspection by Dave Gill we decided to proceed with his recommendations. Dave explained things very clearly and was able to offer advice in a clear and simple manner. Such a nice guy. The work was started on time and carried out over two days Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 March 2022. On the first day Craig and Pete attended and the second day Craig was accompanied by Luke. We can only describe their workmanship as very professional . Any concerns we had regarding the building work they had to carry out and the protection of our flooring inside the extension were soon put at ease with the excellent floor covering they laid to protect it. We were amazed that they even laid the same covering to the outside of the building where they were working. On completion of the work the area was cleaned down and if you had not seen them working you would not be aware that any work had been carried out. They even washed down windows and windowsills in the immediate work area. They worked efficiently and we’re extremely courteous throughout their visit. Ann naturally made sure they were kept supplied with warm drinks and cake. To conclude. Ann and I would like to say that from the receptionists who we dealt with and kept us informed. Dave Gill the site inspector and Craig, Pete and Luke your builders we have been extremely impressed with the company’s excellent professional service. We would have no hesitation in recommending your company and are willing for you to use this review on your review site if you have one. Thank you and your staff once again for your excellent service and we would be grateful if you would pass on our comments and thanks to everyone concerned.   Can't speak highly enough of the service we received from BT Preservation. Dave completed a survey for us and was very patient with our questions and did everything he could to help us. Worth every penny of the fee and highly recommended.

  I can't praise Bryan and his team enough. Bryan visited and correctly identified the wall-tie problems. He produced a highly detailed report which was sent promptly. The quote was very fair. We had other non-typical issues and, despite us being in Scotland, Bryan kept in touch about it all. When we returned, Bryan and a colleague revisited us and reacquainted themselves with the wall-tie work and looked at the more untypical work. They agreed to take it all on, thus project managing it as well, and gave a very good quote. Timing of the work had to change due to Covid but they always kept me fully informed. When the work was undertaken, the team were professional, polite and informative. It was a pleasure to do business with this company - they are highly recommended from me.

  I identified a damp problem in a recently purchased house. To a novice it had the hallmarks of a major and expensive problem. I researched the internet for a suitable company to examine the problem and came across Brick Tie Preservation. Was impressed with Mr Hindles videos as he seemed to have a calm and measured response to problems. I contacted the company and received a friendly and efficient service from the office staff. The surveyor who came to my house was punctual and was knowledgable. After surveying the property he provided a confident assessment of the problem with a simple remedy that will not cost a fortune. The report was available the next day. I emailed with a further question and again I received a prompt response. Well worth the modest cost of a professional report with expert guidance

  After a leak in the dining room from the shower room above, I requested a survey from BRICK-TIE. I was concerned about stain on the part of timber affected by the leak and wanted reassurance before replacing the plaster. The survey was carried out by the boss himself Mr Bryan Hindle. I found Mr Hindle to be a very pleasant gentleman. He explained fully the reason for the staining and that there was no significant damage to the timber. He reassured me that no specialists treatment are required and that I can proceed to replace the defective parts of the ceiling. His survey findings and comments are backed up with a written Report, the cost of which I find to be very reasonable. Mr Hindle is very keen on CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for his company staff. As a health professional, I know the value of CPD and it is a fundamental requirement for a company in order to guarantee trust, quality, reliability and satisfaction of its service to users and customers. I can therefore without any hesitation highly recommend BRICK-TIE PRESERVATION.

  Brick-Tie came at short notice to do the work at our house which involved replacing the wall ties and strengthening a lintel over one of the windows. All the staff were professional, courteous and efficient. The work was done to budget and I would definitely recommend them.

  Selling our house, we had a mortgage valuer who made some spurious claims regards damp and timber in our property without actually checking anything thoroughly. Paul Glover called to the house, listened to what we'd had done previously, talked us through what he was doing, checked the house from top to bottom, made recommendations where necessary but also, more importantly, told us where no treatment was required. Couldn't recommend Brick Tie Preservation more highly; don't trust these companies that offer 'free reports' - they'll get their money somehow - go with a company you can trust. It's worth every penny.
