I was really impressed by the surgery's online e-consult service. The forms are very thorough so there were plenty of opportunities to complete the details of my concerns and a GP contacted me within 48 hours (actually within 24!) at a time that suited her so I didn't feel rushed - we had a detailed discussion over the telephone and she recommended tests and a course of action that alleviated my concerns. Extremely thorough and efficient. I would choose this method of appointment - in the privacy of my own home, over waiting in the surgery, feeling guilty taking up GP's time with other patient's waiting - any day!
