This school is the worst in Islington, Its funny how people wrote in to give school stars in the last couple of weeks. The school is under watch because so many families like me are taking their children out of school. So many kids are being bullied here and no one does anything about it. If you address your worries to school staff because something isn't right you get threatened that they will call social services on you. They interview kids without your knowledge with a child counsellor every week. In the last couple of months 7 families have taken their kids out of this school, that i know. I don't know the official figure, about 5 families are on a waiting list to move their children to another school. This school needs to be investigated. There is a lot more going on that i can't state here. Many kids and families lives have been ruined here. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID TO THIS SCHOOL! I hope the head and deputy head will be replaced before it's too late.

Winton is an amazing school for my child. The teachers have been fantastic and given him a wonderful start to his school journey. He is confident, well mannered, keen to learn and crucially loves going to school and never misses a day! The office staff are brilliant and are always ready to answer my questions (I am a working parent). The headteacher is clearly an inspirational leader, he has led the school through a huge transition (I attended Winton as a child) and I am proud that my child is now a Winton pupil. Mr Rigby makes his expectations clear for the school and his high standards are something I admire and I can see the positive impact evident in my child. My child who is in year one (5 years old) says "all the playtimes are really good. The learning is fun because we learn numbers and can count backwards. Today we got to do painting. My teacher is really good. Mr Rigby is the best because he wears nice suits and keeps everyone safe, he comes out in the playground and all the children come to him. I got resilience in me, that's the last part of our creed." Thank you to ALL of the wonderful Winton team.
