    This is home to Pastor Evelyn Irabor's Refuge Church. A cosy atmosphere with a choir full of young people, Wings of Refuge offers a genuine response to needs of the most vulnerable. The church is within easy reach of public transport, close to St James NHS Foundation Trust Teaching Hospital and large residential neighbourhoods.

    This is an excellent Church that cares, helps people in need and preaches the gospel in accordance with Christian doctrine. The Church is multi-cultural and welcomes everyone irrespective of colour or race. if you are facing crisis in your life, this is the place to come for counselling ,support and divine healing. Members are very welcoming and friendly, it is a family hence come and visit. The pastor is second to none.

    Even though the congregation is nice, this is a terrible church because the people in power are not who they pretend to be. Be warned. Do not trust them and avoid at all costs. For example; i discovered the pastor was lying about her past and when confronted denied everything though her brother had already confessed. We went to her counselling course and she advised that firstly I should switch my phone off when my partner called me and that she should grow up and not get upset. This is terrible counselling. We regularly gave to the church and my partner was told to give double because she is a woman and apparently women do more church activities so they should give more. We offered to buy the church a brand new sound system but they rejected that and said they just wanted money but continually preached that they needed money for better equipment? The answer to that changes all the time. Research into the family and the links to Google and the money for all their jewellery and clothes. It's a fascinating read and then decide if you want to be spiritually fed by this church or not. I would say no.
