Things have certainly changed . . & it appears to be run by low level money grabbing crooks. The set up is great the experience is thwarted by petite minded admin . . For third gift vouchers exchange them for something different. . Don’t bother with this place it’ll leave a bad taste in your mouth literally & ruin your experience

Be very careful, this is pure rip off.. We attended the 05.11.22 and walked out after 45mins of waffle chat, in the 45mins only tasted the sparkling wine which by the time we tasted was warm. The next wine that came out, Red - was straight from the fridge. I don't mind a cold Red, when I'm in the Caribbean. This was a gift, nearly £300 for the event and honestly not worth the money. Far too much waffle and not enough tasting, and did you know why the cliffs of Dover are white - as mentioned - waffle !! You'll be better off going somewhere with a decent wine list and talking to the barman for your £300. Oh, there was cheese - it had been sat for a while so the cracker had gone soft. If you like wine, go somewhere that appreciates your custom.

Superb wine tasting with a good selection of very flavourful, high quality wines. We had a Sussex sparkling, 2 reds, a white, a rose and a port. There are also well paired light bites to complement each wine. Over the course of the tasting there’s a surprisingly in-depth set of talks covering how to taste, the process involved in making the wines, some information about the regions, and other interesting tidbits, plus time to ask any questions you might have. It’s evident Kam who runs the session is extremely passionate and knowledgable about his wines. Well worth a visit.

Had a great time tasting a wonderful selection of wines last Saturday. Kam knows amazingly lot about wine tasting and wine making and is happy to share the passion and knowledge with anyone interested and willing to listen and learn. It is a pleasure to watch him and listen about different aspects of wine making with the entire room, everyone was very quiet, focused, engaged and interested in what he has to say. He is open to questions and goes out of his way to explain every segment of the process. His wines are perfectly paired with different cheeses or truffles and chocolates, and everything is so unexpectedly delicious! Would love to go again and try all the types of tastings they offer.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening wine tasting with Kam. He is a very friendly and engaging host and his selection of wines wonderful, each paired with a particular cheese or, in the case of the port and dessert wine, chocolate. We met some great people and may even have learned a little about what to look for when trying, drinking and buying wines in the future. Highly recommended.

DONT BUY THE WINE! My husband and I did Luxury Wine, Champagne and Port Tasting paired with Cheese and Truffles with Wine Cottage through Virgin Experience. Originally I would have given the experience 5 starts but I'm pretty disappointed with the false information about buying the wine. The wine connoisseur said at the beginning that the wines we tasted were only sold to exclusive hotels and that only one of the wines we were going to taste could be bought in store. After the tasting we purchased one of the reds and one of the white for £27-£28 per bottle. A week later I spot the red wine in ALDI for £7 which made me google the white one only to discover that it can be purchased on Ocado for £14. If it wasn't for Wine Cottage dishonesty about their wines, I would have left feeling very happy with the whole experience. The day in itself was great, and the wine connoisseur was really funny but don't let them trick you into buying their wine!

We booked a wine tasting, but due to the storm Eunice, every train was cancelled so we were unable to attend. I contacted them on the morning of the booking (5-6 hours beforehand), but there was no flexibility whatsoever when I asked if we could reschedule. I will not be booking again.
