FAQ
What is the teacher-to-student ratio in your Montessori classrooms?
Our Montessori classrooms have a low teacher-to-student ratio, with one teacher for every ten to fifteen students. This ensures that each child receives individualized attention and guidance throughout their learning journey. How do you incorporate technology into your Montessori curriculum?
At Windsor Montessori House of Children, we believe in a hands-on, experiential approach to learning. While we do not rely heavily on technology in our classrooms, we do use it as a supplemental tool to enhance the learning experience. For example, we may use educational apps or interactive whiteboards to reinforce concepts learned in class.Do you offer any after-school programs or extracurricular activities for students?
Yes, we offer a variety of after-school programs and extracurricular activities for our students. These may include music lessons, art classes, sports teams, and more. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded educational experience that fosters the development of the whole child. How do you assess student progress and provide feedback to parents?
We use a variety of assessment tools to track student progress, including observation, student work samples, and formal assessments. We also provide regular feedback to parents through progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, and ongoing communication via email or phone. What is your approach to discipline and classroom management in the Montessori environment?
In the Montessori environment, we believe in fostering independence and self-discipline in our students. We use positive reinforcement and natural consequences to encourage good behavior and discourage negative behavior. Our teachers act as guides, rather than disciplinarians, and work with students to develop strategies for self-regulation and conflict resolution.Reviews

We enrolled our 14 month daughter in this Montessori. We were delighted with the progress and development our daughter made with the professionalism and compassion by the staff, she quickly made a close relationship between the teachers and the other infants. Within 5 sessions our daughter would be enthusiastic to run into the Montessori in the mornings and reluctant to leave in the late afternoon! Also this is a true accredited Montessori which stays true to the Montessori ethos, unlike some other places which only use elements of it. I give this place a 10/10 and fully recommend any parent to consider enrolling their child here.
