Our window skins have made an incredible difference to the temperature in our house and I seriously recommend them, especially for those with a draughty old period property. They took precision measurements and the installers were more like craftsmen and worked around all the many idiosyncrasies in our Victorian place. I didn’t think it was possible with all the awkward wonky windows and irregular surrounding woodwork but they made it work perfectly. Now it’s finally warm (compared to 5 years living here without the skins) the difference in quality of life is astonishing, and there is a noticeable reduction in noise from outside. I wish we’d discovered these guys years ago. The finish is chic and subtle - it looks so much better than regular secondary glazing. This is a truly modern way to improve your property without compromising on style and spending a fortune, and it really works. I cannot recommend window skins highly enough. We are thrilled with the result.

Incredibly warmer! I am amazed by how much difference Windowskins have made to the temperature of my house; the heat loss has almost completely disappeared, and I hardly turn on the heating at all. I only had them installed in three windows (the ones with the greatest heat loss), but I am considering having the whole flat done next year. The Windowskins themselves are totally unobtrusive, you'd never even know they're there. Also, the whole team at Windowskins was absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond in order to accommodate me and give me their full support, both Adam who came for the initial measurements, and his two colleagues who came for the actual installation. I cannot recommend them enough!

I was really pleased by WindowSkins, both on service and installation. For DIY novices like me, who also don’t want to invest in very expensive sash wooden windows the solution was optimum and has met its purpose. They installed 4 windows on my flat which is on a slightly busy road, where the purpose was noise reduction. The added complexity was that I already had wood shutters that required a lot of precision in the panels and in fitting. The panels are good quality, it’s not fully sound proof but a much quieter and warmer room. They put 6mm in 3 of the windows and I highly recommend those as they are most effective. I think they do as well as double glazing to be honest, and the heat insulation can be immediately seen. Except for vehicles that can’t be blocked (loud/fast cars, tampered exhausts, buses rumbling) many cars go without notice. But I’m now hearing my refrigerator and boiler, which is a positive sign! We managed to keep the shutters, so feel relieved, as they are very costly. They were extremely professional and customer focussed service, and the fitter Kryz was exceptional. I have started recommending to some neighbours and hopefully you should see more business - many people don’t even know this solution. I hope this review will help make people aware of this wonderful solution. And unless you are an expert fitter I’d take the precision survey and fitting service.

I had Window Skins installed on double-height bay windows in a Victorian conversion flat. The Window Skins are very subtle and don't take away from the character of the building. There has been a noticeable improvement in temperature and sound-proofing since I had them installed. The whole process was smooth and efficient from start to finish. Highly recommended

I spent a year reviewing the best options for secondary glazing for my Grade 2 listed house. After researching WindowSkin (I researched and got quotes from many different providers - both magnetic and slimline metal), I realised I found what I was looking with WindowSkins including the slimmest possible profile, the option to use thicker plastic glass for better sound-proofing and the ability to keep panels in place should I wish to open the sashes. Following the installation, I feel I've got the best product at the best price and they have honestly exceeded my expectations in every way. Even the fitting team was wonderful being very professional and super efficient. The windows fit perfectly as a result of the laser measurement, significantly reducing sound pollution and heat loss and they look so smart and very discrete against my large georgian sash windows - I also really recommend the thicker plastic glass for sound insulation. They also feel very solid considering how light they are. Anyway, I really recommend the product and service and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!
