Played midday so had breakfast first and that alone was worth the visit, one of the best full English I've had. Friendly staff in the bar and pro shop. The course is amazing, every hole offers a new challenge and you really have to think and plot your way around. Views are spectacular. To top off a great day, had back to back 2s. One of my top 3 courses I've played.

Played WGC twice this weekend. Could not of been more impressed. After a lot of rain Saturday morning the course was still in excellent condition. Don't be fooled by the less than 5000 yards. It's a good challenge for all level of golfers. The staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend to any golf society thinking of playing in the Lake District.

Unique feel to this course, really interesting layout could never be described as boring as never a dull moment as you go round. Be ready to be challenged on your first visit as a number of blind shots here and there. Very enjoyable indeed. Lovely food too in the clubhouse. Highly recommended...
