    Sports direct gets a bad press. But today I felt compelled to write a review on the excellent service I received from manager (or maybe assistant manager?) Sophie. Needed to exchange faulty football boots that were 7 months old and I had no receipt only a bank statement. Sophie was so helpful, managed to produce a duplicate receipt from the till after searching for a good while, was offered a full exchange, no quibbles. My son got his new football boots and I didn’t have to pay twice! . One happy customer!

    Called in to browse their hiking backpacks with a view for buying one as a present, their ENTIRE selection was completely out of reach of anything but a staff member with a steep ladder at the top of their display. You can't buy without inspecting with a product like that. Dozey store planning and product placement. Went elsewhere.

    Absolutely disgusted with the male staff who worked yesterday,a young lady on the till alone,huge queue of customers,she rang for assistance & the 3 males stood having a cuppa & chat totally ignored her,a lady from upstairs ran down to assist her & as I left the store confronted the 3 male staff & all they did was laugh.Well done to the 2 ladies for your hard work,as for the 3 males I've reported you,your an absolute disgrace!!
