Beautiful oasis in a busy London suburb. A huge natural garden and cemetery with beautiful trees and wild flowers. It is open daily for anyone to visit just to be able to sit and enjoy the tranquility. I have lived in the area for over 50 years and today was my first visit....to an Open Day. Very friendly, welcoming people who made no demands whatsoever....seemed genuinely pleased to simply share their beautiful space. Thank You.

The original building built in 1690 the 'new' building (1800) is classic and peaceful. This is one of the original buildings of Winchmore Hill before it became part of greater London. The cemetery/park has 200 year old yew trees and is the burial place for one of Wilberforce's colleagues who helped with abolition of slavery. Historic, quaint, peaceful, interesting.
