Perfect location, pretty gardens. Friendly, efficient staff in the restaurant. We booked a superior suite, room 118. On the plus side it was very spacious with all the amenities we would expect. The bed was large and comfortable. On the down side the room and decor was very tired with frayed curtains and flaky paint on ceilings and walls. When I filled the kettle I noticed an unpleasant green liquid in the bottom of the kettle. If it was some sort of cleaning agent it obviously hadn't been rinsed out. The view over the roof and carpark was also disappointing. I was told this was the bridal suite. If so, and if I was a bride I would have been very sad.
