I attended this surgery after decades of bad local NHS dentistry and health problems had left my teeth and gums damaged and decayed. Laleh approached the work like a military operation with great precision, no judgment and always explaining her plans clearly. She works quickly even through a long 2 hour appointment. Her work is thorough and highly skilled. She also teaches at Guys and seems to be up to date with the latest treatment and research. Not inexpensive - but you get what you pay for.

Don’t bother going for any consultation - it’s a total scam! You have to pay a £50 booking fee - which is not refundable, even though I was told it ‘was only to secure booking’ and when I asked again I was told it ‘was an incentive for patients to arrive for appointments’. Which would allow for a fair assumption that should you attend, and wish to not go ahead with treatment after the consultation you would receive your booking fee back - as per normal practice of many dental clinics - but not here. I was in fact made to pay a further £75 after a 10 minute teeth whitening consultation where the dentist told me about the packages available and examined my teeth for suitability. A total of £125 - which I was told was a discount to their usual £145. I was told this would go towards treatment had I decided to stay here. I left very shocked and quite embarrassed so emailed the clinic manager. After a poor explanation over the phone I emailed again. This time the dentist responded with a harsh email telling me I was not welcome to come back and she was unsure as to why I was shopping around for packages and that her time is never free. Still not sure how £125 is justified for a teeth whitening consultation? The website says ‘come in for a chat’ but no one tells you that it costs £145 JUST to tell you that you’re suitable for teeth whitening! Extremely unprofessional - glad I did not pay for the treatment. They make you pay after your consultation and are not forthcoming with fees in order to secure you into further treatment and never refund or give you any choice during the process. Would have not been so perplexed and upset had I been aware. Lack of transparency and I was not consented for any of this beforehand! Just made to pay and then told to go away once I questioned the process. Avoid - plenty of better, friendlier, more open and honest clinics up and down the road.

I have had follow up for several years and needed a filling changed. Dr Sabihipour and her team have always been and were again courteous, professional and flexible throughout the administration of my appointments. On the day of the procedure, the filling was changed with absolutely no discomfort and it felt perfect within 12 hours of the procedure. The once ugly filling has been reconstructed into a completely normal looking tooth, a marvel of artistic craftsmanship! I also had a fabulous hygienist who made them sparkle during the same visit.
