    Wimbledon, the All England Lawn & Tennis Club, is a MUST see if you are visiting London. It is a short (30 minute tube ride) from central London and an easy ten minute walk from the Southfield tube station to Wimbledon. If you are familiar with Forest Hills in New York, you will be amazed by the similarities in the Tudor architecture. Make sure to take the guided tour and then visit the museum. The tours begin every half hour starting around 9:30. The tour guide was excellent and shared lots of "inside" information about Wimbeldon history and the preparation for the world's premier grass tournament. You will visit championship court and all of the other courts. You will be shown and can sit on "Henman Hill" (Aorangi Terrace) and visit court 18, the site of Dennis's longest match (between Isner & Mahut). Even if you are a casual tennis fan, you will love this experience. It is best to buy the tickets online.
