Excellent historic museum, so much to see and read about. Do allow enough time to aprieciate it all. Covers prehistoric periods, through Roman times and more recent centuries. Well worth the entrance fee. 😎👍👍👍

This little gem is a must. There is a wide range of history and objects. Great for kids; short enough to keep their attention or as adults, there is a lot of exhibits and information. This was my second visit. Certainly a rainy day backup plan or a great place to immerse yourself in the area and start with a good understanding. Give yourself over an hour or maybe two to really go through the exhibits. Easy to get to and then a lovely pub lunch at one of the popular watering holes.
