I was referred to Wilmslow Audio by Monitor Audio as I needed help to replace or repair a mid bass driver on my otherwise mint pair of 703 PMC speakers from 1996. MA no longer had stock of drivers and suggested Wilmslow might be able to help. Long story short they were able to repair the driver back to 100% perfect and turned it round in short order for a very reasonable price including VAT and shipping. The guys have did an amazing job on my 32 year old Ruark Talisman 1 speakers. They recommended the Jantzen cross caps and they are really nice and have improved the sound really nicely and I am extremely impressed. They also rewired them with my own cable and binding posts and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended 👌

I have just completed the refurbishment of my AR28s enclosures which had remained silent for many years after the sponge on the woofers decayed. Neil assessed my requirements, identified suitable tweeters and woofers and supplied bespoke cross-overs. The speakers sound amazing and I am thrilled with the outcome. Having purchases a faulty pair of Rogers Studio 3 speakers on eBay , i sent them to Wilmslow Audio for inspection and possible repair. They re newed the cross overs using upgraded components Having just placed them in my Croft system , i have to say i was staggered to hear the sound. Absolutely fantastic ! , the sound stage was just sublime so open and detailed. I am very pleased. Well recommended and thank you Wilmslow Audio.

I have just had my 40 year old Linn Saras refurbished. The sound of these speakers is now comparable with how they sounded when new. I was thinking about trading them in and buying new but I was offered very little for trade in and the cost of a suitable new pair would have been somewhere between £1000 and £2000. The cost of the repair was minimal in comparison as all that was required was to replace the crossover capacitors. I fully recommend this course of action for anyone else in my position.

Super professional service from Wilmslow Audio who recently upgraded my 25 year old Ruark Crusader speakers for me. New tweeters and capacitors for the Crossovers were fitted. On collection Steve had protected them in soft packing sheets and bubble wrap to take home in transit. I'm truly delighted with the result that this upgrade/service has done for my speakers. They simply sound fantastic! W A come highly recommended.
