My experience with this care home was very poor, they took my mother who had advanced dementia, but then claimed they couldn't support her needs, she tried to get out of bed and was vocal, a second care home provided all the care my mother needed, with no issues? The thing that really annoyed me was they didn't allow us any time to find a replacement care home but claimed my mother had a temperature, resulting in my mum being in A&E for a week, while the social services found her a new one, the doctors found nothing wrong with her? I have doubts about the priority of this home, but found that other homes do prioritise care.

Amazing nursing home, my family member have been living there for 7 years. It has open visiting hours (except during Covid). My family member is always spotlessly clean as are all areas there. She was kept free of Covid thankfully. The best nursing home I have ever come across

Amazing care. The staff are so kind and the food is amazing. Short of being at home, my mum could not be in a better place. Brilliant.

Staff on willow 2 were absolutely brilliant, our mother was a resident for 5yrs and was treated with the utmost respect. Same was true of my brother and I, we were treated superbly over the years, we got to know them very well.

Sad to read the previous 1 star reviews. It is sad, but this care home really is great. From what I have seen, the staff are superb. They are very polite, patient, very thoughtful and loving. At the time of this terrible situation, they were probably just following "laws" and were worried about getting into trouble. You can't blame the care home for it. Today, we live in a blame and claim society and everyone has to cover their backsides. Joe blogs (we) have created this society and we are the only ones to blame. Personally, I would of given the de-fib without thought, but if I'm right in what I am saying, I understand why the care home made that decision.

Absolutely shocking establishment. Just finished reading a news article about how this "care home" caused the death of another woman by refusing to give out the PUBLIC defibrillator to her daughter. Who had rushed to come get it while her mother was unresponsive on the floor. The daughter was told by the paramedics over the phone to come get it, from this care home. They denied her and left her outside. I can only imagine what she felt and went through that night. Again, terrible establishment and undertrained staff.

How indescribably inhumane to refuse use of your defibrillator to a dying 43 year old heart attack victim because it wasn't for 'public use'. (DAILY TELEGRAPH 25.10.21)
