I booked in for a private hack as my own horse is retired and I learnt to ride here 40 years ago, when Kay ran it. My instructor was not very welcoming to start with...she asked me no questions , but just brought out a very tired looking pony for me to ride who seemed quite old ( no one knew his age when asked ) was rather thin and very lethargic ( and not in a lazy pony way ). I almost got off and led him at one point. At the end of the ride the instructor never even said goodbye or thanks...just went off. Very dissapointing.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here for lessons now for almost 9 months and she absolutely loves it. Ann, Danny and all of the team are brilliant and really care for their horses and students. I’m amazed at how far my daughters riding has come along since she started (aged 5) and is now riding confidently and enjoying the group sessions. Highly recommend if you’re local and looking for riding lessons.

Having a great time returning to riding lessons after a few years off. The horses I've ridden have been lovely - responsive, well-schooled and enjoying their work. Instruction is thoughtful, supportive and focussed on enabling me to be the best I can be. Loving it! :-D

Had a lesson here a while back. After telling them how much I weighed they put me onto a weight carrying 14’1-14’2 odd cob, lesson went ok didn’t really brush up on much at all, rang back to book another lesson to be told I was too big for their horses and the horse was ‘struggling’ G thanks, I’m not a tank either! Yes I’m curvy but my mare sure as hell does not ‘struggle’ Will not return.

Rang up excited to see when best suited them for availability for my partner to start beginner horse riding lessons and the women receptionist was extremely rude and hostile to me - it’s put me off going there all together.
