Me and my partner were gifted their 6 course meal taster menu and have to say we were not disappointed. Restaurant was beautifully decorated, staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was served on time and a perfect amount of time was left between each course. Will definitely be going back soon!

We went for the 6 course taster menu and it was lovely. Cooked perfect and very tasty. The broccoli and pea soup was the best soup I've tasted. Was excellent value for money and the setting and ambience was lovely too. The staff were also perfect - friendly and attentive without being too fussy and in your face. Would return again and would definitely recommend to others.

This was our 4th time here and found that it definitely has gone down in standard , we were a table of 4 and squeezed in a space , which was uncomfortable, the rest of pub was quite empty so was hard to fathom why everyone was squashed. The staff with exception of a friendly lady were very young and quite surlish, the carvery was very disappointing, very bland , potatoes like bullets but Yorkshire puddings were soggy . No sauces on table and had to be asked for . The desserts were good but over priced The disappointing thing of all was it was our friends birthday and another party got the the staff singing Happy Birthday My friend got a here you are from a shy teenager , with not a happy birthday greeting in site . Considering we all drove over 50 miles to be there ,it was a disappointing lunch .Sad to say we won't be back in a hurry ..
