I'm sorry, but , I wouldn't award even 1 star to this practice. This clinic must be the worst dental surgery I've ever visited. Unfortunately, the good people at NHS 111 allocated me here. I visited twice because the following day because my toothache had got considerably worse... I was, ultimately, prescrbed antibiotics and strong painkillers because it was stated to me I have an abscess , she also suggested I might require an extraction . The initial dentist I saw actually told me I have gum disease after poking about for what seemed ages on a particularly sensitive tooth. So, I was quite surprised to hear , by my own dentist ,that I actually have bruxism , grinding of the teeth.. My dentist , who is very experienced and professional, did his own radiograph after listening carefully to my complaint. Moreover, Nothing else for that matter was found ; no abscess, no gum disease, and no need of any invasive treatment. I feel upset and very let down by the care received at this clinic. With any luck it will be the first and last time I visit this place in my lifetime.

I was ashamed to tell the dentist that I hadn’t had my teeth looked at for years and I broke down crying, the dentist and assistant calmed me down and made me at ease. After looking in my mouth there was a sore on my tongue and dentist told me straight away he was referring me to to a hospital consultant (thinking it could be cancer). I had my hospital appointment and had operation lucky enough it wasn’t cancer but during tests it showed I had cancer of the thyroid. Had operation to remove thyroid and hopefully will be cancer free. All I need is to go back and have dentures fitted. I cannot recommend this dental surgery enough.

My mum had an emergency appt with this dentist centre and we was treated very poorly..firstly the appt was at 6.30, someone calls at 6.10 asking where she is ..I told them on her way..they seemed angry as they had a cancellation and they wanted my mum to be at the centre right there and then. They discovered they had to take one of my mum's teeth out, and they rushed the whole operation as she was on benefits. My mother is over 60 and she said this is the worst dentist she has been too n this country and Bangladesh (which is a third world country). I will highly recommend to AVOID this centre. Furthermore she now needs to see a specialist as the dentist did not do her job propley. Further £200 needs to be spent.

I had an infection on my gums and was referred to WDC. They have the worlds greatest receptionist and a lovely dentist assistant. I was given antibiotics by the dentist who stated that I needed a ‘root canal’ treatment. I asked if he could do it and his reaction was to ask if I was ‘paying ’. Had I said I was on benefits he would have made an excuse and told me to find another dentist. I have been on the waiting list there for the last 12 months. It was very clear to me what was being insinuated. I said I was paying and then was miraculously given an appointment. It was made clear though that ‘you will not be a registered patient’. I genuinely refused to take the chance of being treated by that dentist and did not return. Real shame because the staff there are top class.

If you are chosen by fate, allocated by the the over lords of 111, to this particular dentist.. consider yourself one of the lucky ones. Great service, warm and lovely dentist, dental assistant and receptionist. Going to the dentist is never fun, but they made a difficult experience all the better.

Receptionist was very rude and sarcastic!!! (Answer to the owner) I called and asked if it’s emergency. And i’d like to get an extraction done, Do i still have to book for an appointment. It’s my first time so I don’t know if i could just walked in or not that’s why i called and asked. The lady answered. Obviously! How else do you think you will get it? I was in shocked the way she said that so i asked her to repeat what she said. And yes! She said it again and even before she repeat what she said she even let out a sigh. And she repeat the same word that she said with a little bit of her voice raised. I was in so much pain so i just said thank you and hanged up the phone.
