Unfortunately I have found a few solicitors 'slack' in responding, yet Wilks Price Hounslow made it to number 1 on the list for being slack and unhelpful, to the point they actually made it worse. On one occasion I had no choice but to attend their offices and sit and wait till I was spoken to so to have an appointment made as no phone calls were returned, then after moving into my home, I was flooded, I wont go into reasons but it seems to be the local council at fault who blamed WPH for not informing me of the watercourse/drainage pipes, but although WPH stated they would look into the matter, I allowed more than reasonable time (8 months) for a response from WPH due to issues concerning lock-downs from covid. I eventually had to make a formal complaint to the legal ombudsman, who, found in my favour. I have been awarded compensation, No apology or acknowledgement of the issues by WPH although they did email me to ask If I was still pursuing my ombudsman action against them, although that had taken over a year to get resolved due to a backlog since Covid. I can only advise that anyone looking for a reasonable solicitor, they should avoid WPH.
