My wife and myself have just returned from an amazing two week wildlife tour of Sri Lanka. The country is now very safe and very welcoming. We saw over 160 species of bird although we are not avid "early morning start" birdwatchers and also leopards, elephants, sloth bears and a host of other animals and insects. Local arrangements were handled very professionally by the Wildlife Worldwide agents in Sri Lanka who provided us with a very competent and knowledgeable guide for our entire trip. We would recommend this experience to any would be travellers and don't be put off by any fears of personal safety, it is safe....

We have recently returned from 2 weeks of safari in Zambia, which included South Luangua and the Lower Zambezi as well as a few days in Livingstone. It was the most amazing family experience in beautiful locations with abundant wildlife. Helen, our travel consultant at Wildlife Worldwide helped us to choose the most amazing lodges and also arranged faultless travel connections and flights, including several within Zambia. This was our first safari experience and we are now definitely planning on another. Based on our experience, we can certainly recommend this company to provide a really personal and tailored experience. The pics are just a few from this trip.

I had simply the most outstanding trip organised by Wildlife Worldwide to Vancouver Island this summer. Throughout the course of the holiday, we were lucky enough to experience a huge variety of local wildlife, highlights of which included: getting up close and personal whilst kayaking with orcas and humpback whales, watching grizzly and black bears with their young cubs as they foraged for food on the northern shores of the island, and witnessing a few dozen sea otters holding hands whilst staying in Tofino. The company itself exceeded all expectations and our personal holiday consultant, Emma Healey, guided us through the process of booking very patiently and managed all my requests fantastically well. I cannot recommend this experience with this company highly enough.

Incredible company and incredible tours! I have booked twice now through Wildlife Worldwide on two of the best trips of my life! The first was a bout tour in the Galapagos Islands and the second was a safari in the Maasai Mara in Kenya. The Wildlife Worldwide team were extremely helpful in helping us to book the trip and tailor it to our needs, ensuring we had the best possible time. Their organisation was excellent and the accommodation for both trips (the boat in the Galapagos and the safari camp in Kenya) were wonderful, with amazingly helpful and friendly staff, delicious food and a fun atmosphere. I would highly recommend booking your trip through Wildlife Worldwide - the ability to get so close to the animals and have some amazing experiences and take incredible photos were rivalled by no other wildlife company or self-organised trips I've had.

We recently visited Botswana and Zimbabwe on a trip organised by Wildlife Worldwide. The main part was a mobile safari through Northern Botswana from Maun to Kasane. We have done many safaris throughout Africa and nature holidays throughout the world, and this was right up there with the best both for service and wildlife. The organisation was brilliant, the camp staff couldn't have done more for us, the tents were incredibly comfortable, the food was fantastic and the staff went out their way to be helpful, particularly to one less mobile person on the trip, to ensure they didn't miss anything. Our guide (Disho) was an excellent companion and his knowledge of the bush was second to none, meaning we ended up with fantastic and numerous views of 42 species of mammal, including leopard, lion, cheetah, elephant, wild dog, pangolin etc, and also over 200 species of bird. In addition to this, Wildlife Worldwide recommended we visit Meno A Kewna near the Makgadikgadi National Park before the trip which turned out to be a real gem, with a night under the stars in the Makgadikgadi Pans a highlight. We finished off in Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls, which made the perfect end to what was a wonderful trip.

Just returned from a brilliant Wild Dogs trip to Botswana arranged by Wildlife Worldwide. The trip from start to finish was excellent. Pre tour info was comprehensive and accurate. Connecting flights were spot on and didn't leave too long hanging around in South Africa. Met upon arrival in Botswana by our tour guide and owner of Bush Lark Safaris, Disho Gabatsholwe. It is always a good sign to be welcomed with a broad smile and firm handshake and the impression that the person leading the tour knows his stuff - which was proved many times over during our trip. After a comfortable transfer in a safari Land Cruiser we arrived in the Khwai Community Concession and our first mobile bush camp. Again we were greeted warmly by the staff who were to look after us during our trip. The camp was beautifully situated and was as described in the pre tour notes. This is an authentic African experience, with all your needs met without all the bells and whistles that are really not needed. Comfortable tents in excellent condition, a clean comfortable bed, a bush shower and toilet and an open sided mess tent serving excellent food cooked by the wonderful Mussa and served by the great gang of helpers. We settled into our routine very quickly which consisted of an early wake up call with provision of some hot water for your morning freshen up, followed by hot porridge, coffee and toast around the camp fire before boarding our vehicles for our game drives. Mid morning is coffee and home baked biscuit break and then more game driving before coming back to a great lunch back at camp. After a hot bush shower and perhaps a little snooze its back to the game viewing around 3.30 pm until the sun goes down and sun downers are served in the bush - perfect! The game viewing was excellent and highlighted the essential component of any safari - the guide. Disho, assisted by TJ and Albert, proved time and again their intimate knowledge of the bush where they have lived and worked all their lives. We experienced the best leopard sightings we have even had in any African country and finally put to bed our failure to see African Wild Dogs with a fabulous pack in superb morning light reflected in the Khwai river - magical!!! The sightings were too numerous to mention here in detail, but we saw leopard (3 separate sightings), sable and roan antelope, honey badger, lion, huge buffalo herds, numerous bull elephants and numerous birds (65 different species including Pels Fishing Owl and Wattled Crane). After 4 fabulous nights we transferred to Moremi Game Reserve. We left the camp staff dismantling the camp and wondering how they were to do this, travel to Moremi and meet us at the end of the day with the camp all set up and an excellent dinner waiting for us, a great feet of organisation and team work! Moremi was to prove just as productive as Khwai. The highlight being giving privileged access to the den site of a large wild dog pack. We visited this site of a few occasions at different times of the day and witnessed some fantastic wild dog behaviour including the pack returning from hunting and feeding the 4 puppies and the ritual greeting that proceeds the pack leaving to hunt. We also go to speak to two researchers at the site that gave us an in depth profile of the pack and wild dogs across their research area. Other memorable experiences include a 30 minute encounter with a magnificent male cheetah that posed in the fork of a tree as part of its morning scent marking routine! On our final day we finally tracked down the large lion pride that we had heard roaring throughout the night. We watched a couple of females stalking some red lechwe, the lead male in full mating behaviour and left with the sound of the whole pride roaring an African farewell - an emotional farewell to a fantastic trip! If you are seeking an authentic African safari experience, being looked after by the happiest staff and guided by a truly expert guide, then look no further than this trip which rates as one of our best ever African safaris in the past 30 years.
