Working with Charlotte has been such a dream come true. The design process, fittings & travel, and the dress itself just blew me away. I am so fortunate to have found her. She took my ramblings, combined them with her wonderful ideas, and put it all together and made a masterpiece. I do not know if I will ever feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. We actually took photos in an art museum and so many people took photos of me in the dress that I felt like I was a piece of art. I am so happy that I did not go to a traditional bridal salon and opted for this bespoke experience. I will cherish this dress and memories I made in it for the rest of my life.

I absolutely loved the process of working with Charlotte to design my wedding dress. I’d tried on a few in traditional shops and every time felt like the dress was wearing me, which was not how I wanted to feel on my wedding day. After the first discussions over email with Charlotte I knew I was in safe hands and going to have a dress that suited me. I found out I was pregnant the day after our first meeting at the studio and Charlotte was incredible at adapting the design as we went along so that it fit perfectly on the day. On the day I felt confident and 100% me wearing my dress. The best feeling in the world.

I had such a specific idea in my head of what I wanted my wedding dress to look like that I knew I would have to go bespoke. When I came across Charlotte's website I knew she was the perfect designer to bring my ideas to life. Each dress she makes is as individual and unique as the women who wear them. She is an excellent listener who can interpret ideas into reality, and she isn't afraid of a challenge! I really wanted an off-the-shoulder style but didn't want to be restricted in my movement as I wanted to be able to hug and dance the night away to my heart's content. Charlotte came up with a design with a beautiful off-the-shoulder strap which could be removed to leave a strapless dress. I was just overjoyed with the end result! It was everything I had hoped for and more. The cut and fit is perfect, and the intricate embroidery is just stunning. It was a joy to go through this process with Charlotte, and I would highly recommend Wilden London to anyone looking for something a little different. To top it all off, Charlotte has been such a help as I get my dress dry cleaned after the event, giving advice and getting in touch with companies on my behalf. Thank you Charlotte! Melangell

5 stars aren’t enough. It’s so difficult to express how unique and magical the experience of working with Charlotte is. A wedding dress has always been such an important thing to me and I’d considered the idea of bespoke on and off. When I found Charlotte I knew she needed to be the one to make it. I got completely lost in her real brides blog on her website falling in love with dress after dress. Each one seemingly so intricate and personal to the bride. When we met in person in the gorgeous little studio I felt so excited that Charlotte completely understood my vision and helped craft it in ways I didn’t know how. Going to see Charlotte was my absolute favourite part of planning the wedding. It felt like magic between fittings where all of a sudden calico toiles became a sparkling wedding dress. Charlotte even made me a last minute matching face mask in case we were instructed to wear them on the wedding day! To me my dress is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever owned. I can’t thank Charlotte enough, 500 stars!

It is difficult to condense the magical experience I had working with Charlotte into a mere ‘review’ but here is a little attempt.. from start to finish Charlotte’s intuition and attentive, patient approach has allowed me to basically dream up the dress from my childhood dreams. From thinking up the concept to choosing materials, to then meeting up and thinking iteratively and adjusting along the way, the whole process was an absolute joy and felt intimate and special. Charlotte understood immediately I wanted a dress full of story, secret messages, and romanticism but with a modern rock/twist and a sprinkle of drama :). She takes your ideas and uses her amazing creative mind and dressmaking skills to give you the absolute dream dress. I will cherish the memories of working on this dress with her forever and will always be grateful to her for how special she made me feel on my wedding day.
