Most clubs teach you the ring: how to move without losing scores, how to hit to gain or not to lose scores, and so on. I've practised in several, and it's always disappointing. Most people aren't concerned with getting scores in the ring; they just want to defend themselves. Andy's Wild Boars will teach you how to fight. The place doesn't look as glamorous as some other clubs, but it's not trying to be. It's literally a diamond where you can become a brilliant fighter and self-defender rather than a score hitter. π₯π

I struggled to get motivated with exercise working full time with two small children. My husband does Thai boxing and recommended for me to join the gym with him. I started at Wildboars doing their circuits class and really enjoyed it and now have 121 sessions. I now have a family 121 on a Monday with my husband and 2 children who are 4 and 6, circuits class and the family group class on a wednesday. I have now been a member since September 2020 and found a way to balance a busy working family life and exercise. Everyone is very friendly and Andy the trainer is very welcoming.

Fantastic place to train! Andy is very knowledgeable and a great teacher. Ego is left at the door, and from the strongest to the weakest, the pack work together to develop! Loving training more than I ever have before!

Being passionate about martial arts, last year in lockdown was tough not being able to train. I was then invited along to outdoor Muay Thai training being delivered by Andrew Eastwood at Bramley Park, and jumped at the chance. Andrew ran daily 1 hour sessions β free of charge, and during hard times for many they were an amazing release for me and canβt thank him enough for running the them. On the back of the sessions, with momentum building, Wild Boars Muay Thai was established. Andrew is a nice guy and all-round top fella who is very passionate and knowledgeable about the sport of Muay Thai. Everyone who trains are friendly and there is great camaraderie among the group. The sessions are varied and fun with lots of 1 to 1 tuition and advice. I have learnt a great deal; I also train in kickboxing and have been able to combine elements of both arts that I feel has improved me as Martial Artist improved my self belief. I recommend Wild Boars from you being a beginner starting out to an experienced Martial Artist or if you just want to get fit and have fun.
