I went there with electrical problem for my AC on Honda civic mk8, but the guys very quickly diagnose the problem and it was not electrical, just refilled my AC with gas (few months ago I went to another service for refilling, and after they “refill” the car which cost me £60 they said you need electrician ) so Wigan auto fix it at no time - very happy with their service, I definitely recommend and will use again if I have to. £45 - diagnose £65 - refilling

I don't recommend this place for a car electrician at all. A month ago, I spent three hundred pounds for the windshield wiper to stop working. Exactly a week later, the internal fuse failed, and I was afraid of paying a lot of money to go there again. Very unfair.

After calling over 50 garages on a very cold Wednesday morning, to see if they would try n fix my car only 1 came to my rescue. Wigan auto centre. Formerly known as Wigan alternators. My 06 Vauxhall Astra had decided on that morning to lock all its doors and engage the deadlocks too. I couldn’t open any door apart from the drivers door. Wigan auto centre took my car in at 9:30 and I had it back before 4pm. A faulty wiring loom was to blame. Car electrics are not great at the best of times. But this garage had me booked in sorted it and gave me the car back the very same day. Steve and all the guys down there delivered a very professional service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody that has electrical problems with their cars. Brilliant service. Top job. Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I was informed by ATS in Wigan that my air conditioning had a leak while trying to re-gas it. Even better, they couldn’t tell me where it was! Told me to go away to get it repaired and come back. The whole day I jumped from garage to garage trying to find someone who could help but got nowhere. Even went to the dealership who couldn’t see me until April and would charge me £120 just to check it!! I then Google’d for air conditioning specialist and these guys came up! Saw my car that afternoon, tested it and found there was not a leak at all! The air conditioning was re-gased and everything was fine! Absolutely amazing service and very thankful! Spent the whole day worrying about what was wrong when there wasn’t anything wrong! I shall be going back in future! Thank you! Service: A/C system repair

Took my porsche 944to have the electric window and passenger side door central locking be repaired, the guy called me next day to say he can't fix it, but when another auto electrician repaired it I saw that most of the original door card screws had been replaced with ones that don't fit properly, door card waterproof film was not put back in and missing also door speaker water proof case was missing, also window switch fixing bracket had been broken, will not be using this company again.

Fantastic service today from Lee at WAEC Wigan. Booked in to fix an air conditioning leak we’d been informed our car had by Halfords, Wigan. As Halfords only offer the service to check air conditioning and not to fix it Google came up with WAEC. After testing it turned out the car didn’t have a leak after all and all that was needed was a refill. Very happy customer driving away with a very cool car. We should have come here first! I’ll definitely recommend WAEC Wigan to others. Thanks again. Service: Air conditioning
