  Please avoid this dentist!! Been going since I was very young under the old owners! New owners have come in and it has gone downhill very quickly! Hygienist left dentists have left and staff have left! I usually went to see sonia after bad experiences with other dentists there, she was ok until she refused to give me a prescription for toothpaste! This surgery is after money money money, family members and myself been told to pay upfront which you definitely do not do! They don’t do root canal or cosmetic dentistry! Was advised by Sonia don’t come here for your cosmetic dentistry, was given other places to go as she advised me to do that! They are asvertising procedures they cannot fulfil! Will be taking this further with complaints a lot higher! Please avoid!!!

  I have been coming to Wickford Dental Health Centre for several years now for regular check ups and treatment and have nothing but glowing praise for all the staff. From the moment you check in with the delightful receptionists you are treated professionally and with respect. I have persuaded my husband to register with the Centre and he too is delighted. An efficient and caring practice that instills confidence and trust. Thank you.

  Stay away from this dental practice, in particular their ‘dentist’ Jasmine. Went to them with a hole in my tooth and in a lot of pain, was told I could have a number of treatments; filling, root canal or have the tooth removed… basically left me feeling completely confused and without confidence that jasmine could actually do the treatment or even wanted to do it. She was rude and not very friendly, the appointment felt very rushed. She even struggled to use the x-ray machine. I then went back to discuss my options with her, after being told by the manager that I couldn’t see a different dentist at the practice. Jasmine told me she didn’t feel confident in doing a root canal treatment on me as I was nervous about her doing it and the manager had told her I wasn’t confident in her doing the treatment - which in my opinion is completely unprofessional! Following this, I went to another dentist at a different dental practice, who told me that the filling she suggested I could have, was in no way an option what so ever. A filling was completely off the cards. Jasmine was rude and completely unprofessional, she made me feel very uncomfortable and nervous about getting any treatments at the practice. The practice itself wasn’t interested in helping me, more interested in taking my money. Made me pay for my appointments upfront. All in all, this dental practice is awful. Stay away!

  Surgery not bad all in all, but avoid dentist Mehual Tailor. He is nasty and very unprofessional. Felt traumatised how he spoke to me at my dental appintment. I have never ever been spoken to like that before in my entire life, by someone who is meant to be called " proffesional " . Won't be going back to him ever again.

  Due to anxiety problems in previous years and bulimia, I have weak teeth. My UR7 broke so I visited the practice. First appointment- nothing. Dentist said it was nothing serious, that I could wait, that I had nothing to worry about. She informed me that I needed to treat two other teeth. The pain was excruciating and because of my eating disorder I had to eat. And I couldn't. I came back and was given antibiotic- because dentist did not know how to help me. I came back after more than one week for actual treatment, and here we are. I saw a shadow on the nerve on the x-ray, insisted on extraction. The dentist did not want to do it, saying it would be a big mistake. She even called another dentist to tell me this. Then I made the biggest mistake because I gave up. I should stand by my thinking. It could save me one month of pain and discomfort. After a few days I came back because I felt the amalgam (oh my god) filling was too high. Has been corrected. How did it end? Today I couldn't stand it because my whole jaw was aching on the right side. I went for emergency service and paid £290 for tooth extraction. Three specialists (including a surgeon) agreed that UR7 was not suitable for amalgam filling, for any filling. And it is not even everything. The day after check up I went to emergency service with my UL2 because I saw on the x-ray that the decay was almost on the nerve and I wanted to avoid RCT. The dentist didn't believe that someone told me to wait until 8/16 saying it would be okay. He barely saved a tooth. Doctor Panti did not informed about other teeth- three more need to be done. It is visible for non dental health professional, so I do not understand this situation and I do not trust this practice anymore. Not only that, the reception desk should not treat anyone in advance. I called angry, crying, but I was not aggressive because I know that it was not their fault, but the dentist's fault. When I told about what I wrote here, the receptionist replied angrily (today at 4pm) with attitude. Only because I am complaining? Well, I am. And I will make sure to complain further. I lost my trust not only in this practice, but in other professionals. I am heartbroken and financial broken. Thanks:)

  Just returned home after my first appointment with wickford dental practice What a wonderful place All staff were amazing My dentist Hannah along with her assistant Steph were marvellous and very reassuring Definitely be returning and would recommend anyone who needs to see dentist to call and make an appointment Cannot praise this dental surgery enough Wonderful practice!!! Was a bit nervous but was reassured by What a wonderful set up
