I am writing this review in as a Grandmother, my premature grandson who was born at 31 weeks , and all I can say is the care he and my daughter received was second to none,from the amazing team at in labour ward (my daughter had an emergency C section) to NICU,to SCBU and finally after 5 weeks my grandson came home .Thank you is not nearly enough for this unit and the care my daughter and Grandson received.We are indebted to all the Whittington staff. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I have been booked to get induced with doctor order for my 3rd baby they locked me in the room and no one bothered to check on me for whole day not even the midwife come and check on me. Every time I called they send student nurse, which will keep say I will let the midwife know. In 2021 I had the worst experience of my life when I gave birth with my child in Murray ward the midwife was saying labour ward was busy when I keep telling her I’m in so much pain and after 20 minutes I gave birth In Murray ward with out any support all by my self and when she come the baby head was already out.After all that bad experience I didn’t know where else to go and came back with better hope I could have changed but the doing same thing

I had a traumatic experience during my labour. i've been told, when i shared my experience, that the midwife that took care of me was known to be NOT friendly and emphatic. i still wonder why she choice that job... She ruined what it was a life time experience! Once the baby was born, i finally felt safe and in good hand and all the stuff was fantastic and caring! Also the lovely midwife that took care of me during my pregnancy - and works at whittington hospital - was amazing! I guess i was just very unlucky!

I was transferred there from Ipswich so 90 odd miles from home via ambulance and the whittington discharged me still in agony with contractions to return to ipswich via the underground!!!. I was stranded, scared, in pain and agony. I'll never set foot in this hospital again!

I had a forcep delivery my stiches was infected within 24hours and suffered the worst hemmoroids one can experience. Was put on 3 different course of antibotics untill they found which worked, was seen by 3 doctors which all 3 tried to send me home untill my baby got jaundiced and my fever passed 39degrees. Im grateful to be alive tosay
