I went in with a head and thorax injury after a fall from a bike and was taken through within 20 minutes. Sent for CT scans and xrays for the rest of my body. I could see how overwhelmed they were. They did the best they could and have to prioritise patients. I've been to A&E for many things over the years. Sprained ankles and broken toes or deep cuts etc. Have always had to wait 5 hours on average. For once I went straight through. It showed me that they obviously prioritise the most serious cases. I wish the tories hadn't screwed over the NHS as bad as they have. It's NOT the doctors, nurses or receptionists fault for any of these bad reviews. They're under so much pressure. In my CT unit there were a lot of very sick people. Seriously sick. I know when you're in pain with an injury, it's easy to get upset. But you have to think about people who are sicker than you, with serious or life threatening injuries

Do not go there! It is pointless. I understand the point that the NHS is having funding issues. However funding issues should not result in people not being seen a bit quicker. They keep you waiting for hours only to send you home. When it would make alot of sense to have ways to manage illnesses that are not regarded as priority. The staff seem to be overworked and tired which is something that I do get but their waiting times are ridiculous. Every A & E in this country is becoming a joke! I was there for 8 hours only to be told nothing would be done for my child. From the onset I asked questions so I have an idea and was told to wait. I waited for nothing. I will never go there again. The NHS is becoming a joke and we taxpayers are being made a complete fool off! Whittington is the worst ever!

A&E was really busy and struggling with a huge quantity of people, so I was expecting to wait ages. However given my issue could be seen by a nurse, I was sent to a portacabin for nurse car. The car Marvin gave was excellent. He was caring, took time with what he did, and let us pause when I was struggling with pain during the wound cleaning. I think the Whittington need to expand their seating area if demand is this strong as lots of people were sat on the floor and countertops.

I went gor a bad ear infection. They left me crying out of pain for 4 hours. No painkiller or anything to release the suffer. The doctor didn't even treated me, she just gave me a prescription for my medication.
