Phoned to see about getting registered here with a GP. The receptionist was rude and told me I could not register here as I was not in their catchment area. Meanwhile I live in Chelmsford and wasn’t aware that there are certain areas within Chelmsford where I’m only able to see a GP, especially since they were on the list of NHS GP offices for me to consider registering in Chelmsford. It’s a shame honestly but at the same time, it’s best to avoid places like this anyway.

Called this morning with problems with my hips, spoke to the receptionist who was helpful and said a doctor would call me back at some point during the day. The doctor called me within an hour and asked me to come down straight away, I only waited for 10minutes before being seen. Very caring and extremely professional. It felt like they went over and above what they needed to. All receptionist very friendly and helpful and doctor Bentley was very good, very clear and very helpful. This surgery should be used as an example on how to treat patients. Thank you.

Phoned my X husband as I do every month and found he was not well at all, phone his surgery and such lovely people dealt with it, and blue lighted him to hospital, I rang hospital this morning and they said they were probably going to admit him. I would just like to thank the lovely receptionist and dr, for being so kind to me and letting me know what was going on. We have been divorced many years but remain great friends

Really unhelpful, woefully inadequate service. I’m fortunate enough to be able to pay for private healthcare as the NHS has really let me down recently, but every time I’ve needed to use the doctors, Whitley House has managed to completely mess up the process and grind my recovery to a halt, unbelievably. I haven’t needed anything major from them, not even a proper appointment - I dread to think about the other patients that are at the mercy of the surgery and their processes. God knows where I would be if I had to rely solely on it.
