We purchased our fireplace in October. Unfortunately we delayed painting the chimney breast, due to outside issues. When we went to book our mantlepiece fit. We were told 10 weeks for an approximately 30 minute job. Not what they said as they were fitting the fireplace. ( don't worry love , we'll fit you in at the end of a job , only take a minute). Then I get a phone call delaying it yet further. Would this be because you now have our £4000 and we are no longer a priority........ customer service after you've paid, don't expect any. We had our old gas burning fireplace removed and the fireplace prepared to install a wood stove at a later date. We received excellent service and execution of work (as well as cleaning after the work) from both workmen executing the work and the admin office.
